Some Thoughts On The Origin and Spread Of The Early Game

Almost two years ago, I got involved with an unofficial group that was putting together information for an official MLB committee investigating the origins of baseball.  Since I don't know what has happened to the committee or their work, I'm not going to give you too much information about it.  Hopefully, one day, the committee will pop back up with an official report that reflects current research concerning the origins of the game.  Until that day, here's the work that I put together for the unofficial group:
