There is an entry at the Protoball Chronology about baseball in Colorado in April of 1862, although it is based on a secondary source. It does appear that our friend Richard Hershberger ran the sources down and confirmed the fact that there was a baseball club in Denver in 1862. This squib is additional evidence of Civil War-era baseball activity in what would become the state of Colorado.
